Welcome to an hour of inner peace and self-reflection. This guided meditation invites you to explore a space of silence and mindfulness within yourself. Sit or lie down comfortably, close your eyes gently and let my voice lead you on a journey of relaxation and self-discovery.

Introduction (5 minutes):
Let’s start by bringing our attention to the present moment. Feel the ground beneath you, feel the softness of your breathing and allow your body to slowly relax. Let go of all the thoughts and worries of the day and allow yourself to arrive fully in the here and now.

Breathing relaxation (10 minutes):
Bring your attention to your breath. Feel how it gently flows into your body and supplies it with fresh energy. With every breath, allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation. Allow your breath to guide you and bring you into a state of calm and calm.

Body Journey (15 minutes):
Now turn your attention to your body. Start at the head and slowly work your way down, consciously noticing each region of your body. Feel the tension in your muscles ease and allow your body to completely relax. When you encounter tension or discomfort, breathe gently into these areas and release them.

Visualization of Nature (20 minutes):
Imagine that you are in a quiet place in nature. Maybe you’re on a secluded beach, in a lush forest, or on a majestic mountain peak. Awaken all your senses as you enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of your surroundings. Feel the sun on your skin, hear the sound of the waves or the birds singing, smell the fresh air and feel the ground beneath your feet. Immerse yourself completely in this image and let it fill you with peace and harmony.

Self-reflection (10 minutes):
Use this moment to explore yourself and reflect on your thoughts and feelings. What’s bothering you right now? What emotions arise? Allow yourself to observe and accept what arises without judgment. Breathe in and out deeply and acknowledge the depth of your own existence.

Conclusion (5 minutes):
Slowly return to the room and feel the floor beneath you. Move your fingers and toes and then slowly open your eyes. Take a moment to feel how your body feels and be grateful for the time you took for this meditation.

May this moment of inner peace and self-reflection give you peace, clarity and serenity.

 

What to bring:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for meditation
  • Sunscreen and hat for sun protection (when participating in outdoor activities)
  • Bottle of water to stay hydrated.
  • Some cash money for personal matters or donations
  • Wear respectful clothing that covers shoulders and knees when visiting the temple

 

Additional Information:

The tour takes place every Sunday morning and starts around 6:00 – 6:30 a.m. and ends around 9:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Transportation to and from Chalong Temple is not included.

Participants are responsible for organizing their own transport to the temple, but this can be conveniently arranged by us at an additional cost.

Participation in the meditation session and temple tour is open to people of all ages and backgrounds.

No previous meditation experience is required.

Please maintain respectful behavior and adhere to temple etiquette while visiting.
